1. How does what you have learned thus far apply to your career?

In my field of work there is only a small amount of computer use. We use the computer to look up information concerning juveniles such as, court information, crimes committed, and prior experience.

2. How does this course integrate with your other or previous course work?

It helps me and enables me to learn more about computers so that I may proceed more knowledge and understanding of what is needed for me to progress on my job and any future jobs I may have.

I agree also in my line of work as well. with this class I've learned how information, through a computer, can be helpful, as well as incriminating, to the use and the victim.

It has helped me not to be so afraid of the computer. The computer is a machine. I am able to locate information on minors faster and more accurately than I did before. I have learned to locate certain fields in the computer that's needed to obtain pertinant information such as minors court dates, court releases, charges, and any priors they may have.

2. How does this course integrate with your other or previous course work?

By using the computer in police technology and terminology I am able to get a better understanding of the crimes committed while using computers and other devices and with my criminological theory course it breaks down the judicial system from top to bottom from the types of crimes to the time served.

The things I've learned from this class have been very beneficial and directly related to my career.  The other courses I've taken haven't gone into this particular subject into this much detail.  Therefore, most of the information I came across while conducting research for this course was new to me.

I too agree. The coursework provides you with tangible examples of technology in use; the examples can be used to inspire the advancement of technology and promote its development.
