My resume...DO I list my FEMA certs or just attach copies of the certificates? And...Letters of Reccomendation from Law Enforcement, By rank or significance?

If you look at my CV at http://www.hitechcj.com/id55.html, it is essentially a web-version of one version of my resume. I do list the FEMA certificates by name; POST certificates, etc. Those are important accomplishments and worth one line. I lump commendations from agencies and individuals into two categories. I essentially mentioned the one for valor and then state I have received XX others. A thought might be to highlight one or two that demonstrate something about you to your prospective employer and then mention the rest. A really good tip about resumes is that you want to try and tailor the resume to the employer.
So, if they advertise certain skills MAKE SURE you list your qualifications that meet those skills. Also, sometimes they want a resume to include certain work experience, certificates etc. If you have them, they ask for them, then mention them. A few good links on resume writing:
