| For this particular course, I have already passed on, and recommended several of the websites with links to terror groups that would be of interest to law enforcement officers. Additionally, I will continue to stress the importance of keeping current with national and international terrorist trends.

| This class has allowed me to view and obtain insight on various terrorist groups that are a threat to law enforcement. I will continue to view these terrorist links and utilize that information in preparing first responders.

| When I return to the military as an officer, there are different strategies that I learned on how to on how to defeat and recognize terrorism. This Information will be useful to the troops if I return to Iraq.

rgasior,
Thank you for doing your part as a citizen in trying to combat terrorism. I also agree that everyone should keep current with national and international terrorist trends. It is not a military and law enforcement concern everyone should be aware of these terrorist groups, so they can report any suspicious activities and help prevent a disaster.

| Hey all. Well I see that you just finished the terrorism course, great class It was fun and informative at the same time. I just finished the last assignment in Information Technology; it was challenging because I am not a techie, I just want stuff to work when I push the button. I can say, like you all, that I have used something from almost from every class since returning to school. With this one I have a better understanding and limitations of police technology. I want to congratulate all of you in getting closer in your endeavors.

I learned a lot about the technology of law enforcement, which I can use in any field of law enforcement. What I liked and feel most useful is all the websites presented in class, now i can go to several sites to find information, articles, and resources, that can aid me in doing my job and being more effective.

I'm finishing the police technology course and it has been challenging, but I've enjoyed it. It seems everyone enjoys the courses and programs provided by Union.

| This course has been very helpful with finding on-line resources. I have already been sharing this information with coworkers when researching projects or crime suppression ideas.

POLICE ETHICS! Though I have only taken 4 course, Police Ethics (CJM 303, John Andrews, MPA) surprised me the most. Ethics is one of OUR biggest hills that we will be forever climbing. Our roles as police officers has changed 10 times over in the last decade and will continue to change with every major indecent or what society deems to be a major incident.

I certainly will incorporate more than just one part that I have learned; however, I think the information technology course will be beneficial to those that follow me. It is important to understand the technology utilized in law enforcement, especially when conducting research and purchasing. A basic understanding can also aid in keeping a system operational, as you will need this knowledge to communicate with repair technicians.

| This course, if anything, has been more useful to me on a personal level rather than a professional level. In my line of work we deal with people after the crime has been committed, but I still see the potential to apply the information to work related issues. Either way the information learning in this course and through out the program was and will be very useful in my life.

One important aspect of "terrorism" that I will pass on to others is that it can come in different forms. In this day and age we are mostly focused on international terrorism, but domestic terrorism is certainly a major threat to law enforcement and we must not forget to keep "tabs" on all groups who have potential to do harm.

The police technology course has been outstanding. The information has not only been educational, but useful. As a supervisor, you are often looked at by those you supervise as "all knowing". You get asked a lot of questions and your subordinates expect you to know the answers. Yes, we all know where to go to find the answers, however, it's great to be able to provide the answers through your personal education rather than through the department expert.
This class, which is my first since my return to school, will definitely help me answer difficult police technology questions that I couldn't have answered before. It is a great feeling to teach those around you what you have just learned yourself!

Clayton,
I agree. The website presentations were extremely educational. The websites are a resource that I will continue to use and recommend to the officers I work with.
