The workshop provides attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about new technologies and national standards, share implementation successes and failures, and create new contacts. The intent of this workshop is to facilitate all aspects of justice and public safety information sharing and the delivery of incident management. Among the anticipated participants are developers and technical managers who are implementers of NIEM, GJXDM, web services, and other interrelated technologies.
Workshop topics may cover, but will not be limited to, biometrics, web services, proactive alerting, virtualization, information security, new industry initiatives, and Nlets grants, products, and services. There will also be time for networking and for interacting with Nlets technical staff.
