I have been a police officer for 27 years. I have seen technology grow leaps and bounds. Technology is definitely our friend. Whether it be implementation of a mobile data terminal, fingerprint technology that can be entered into a computer and searched against a nationwide database, or DNA technology that has imprisoned many who felt they had gotten away while freeing many who had been wrongfully convivted.

We are constantly improving in many areas and it is up to each and every one of us to stay on top of this technology and not get left behind. This technolog class by Raymond Foster offers a look into many different technological advances I was not aware of, and has opened up many new roads.
