Hands-on Workshop: Field Detection of Drug and Explosive Odor Signatures Using PSPME-IMS
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ), through the National Forensic Science Technology Center (NFSTC), is sponsoring "Technology Transition Workshop on the Field Detection of Drug and Explosive Odor Signatures Using Planar Solid Phase Microextraction Ion Mobility Spectrometry ("PSPME-IMS")."
This 2.5-day workshop, offered at no cost to eligible agencies, will take place at NFSTC in Largo, Fla., Sept. 19-21, 2011. Eligible participants include law enforcement professionals actively involved in screening containers, luggage and/or packages for drug and/or explosives residues and who are affiliated with a government-funded criminal justice facility.
