International Tactical Officers Training Association (ITOTA)
The ITOTA is an international association designed to offer quality, professional academic and practical training. The ITOTA recognizes the need to expand and share tactical knowledge by focusing on the wealth of information and experience that exists in the global tactical community. The ITOTA is currently seeking qualified, experienced instructors to instruct tactical courses for military, law enforcement and corrections located at CONUS and OCONUS locations. ITOTA instructors will be assigned to and mentor specific courses during established instruction periods and will be deployed to various training sites globally.
Duties of the instructors may include:
- Manage the classroom environment to the extent that a professional educational experience is available to students.
- Provide and implement personal security details.
- Manage and instruct reality based training courses.
- Manage training facilities.
- Administer exams on classroom instruction to document student performance.
- Keep records regarding classroom activities including names of students, attendance, progress, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
Retired or active duty SF Military, Tactical Law Enforcement or recent HONORABLE discharge within 2 years departure.
10 years tactical law enforcement experience with training background, or proven experience as a law enforcement trainer/instructor in an academic environment; training background experience will include actual podium experience, preferably in police training academies or an educational setting (college/university level); trainers will have instructor certification from a recognized academy, college, or university, preferably as a police or correction’s instructor, with at least five years as a Certified Instructor.
10 years of service within the U.S. Military Special Forces background or U.S. approved country with exceptional experience and training. Demonstrated ability to work in difficult and possibly dangerous environments.
Management and strategic planning skills.
Tactical Experience, with particular attention given to HRT, Counter Terrorism, CQB, Breaching (manual, mechanical or explosive), Tactical Waterborne, Tactical K-9, Ballistic Shield, PSD, Tactical SCBA/ Tactical Clandestine Laboratory and Tactical Firearms (all disciplines/weapons).
Ability to possess U.S. or acceptable Foreign Passport.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
Medically cleared for service.

Pay scale: Salaries are competitive based on past operational and training experience, course of instruction and location. Complete reimbursement of travel, lodging and per diem shall be provided.
