How do I find a civilian job in law enforcement?

Look at those jobs, then, in the upper right hand corner there is a search box - use search terms like law, justice, police, etc.  Once you have read about the different jobs and their qualifications, go here:

This is the portal to all federal jobs – but it has some interesting features – take the test to see what kind of job fits your personality, and what jobs, at the federal level are recommended for you. 

 

Okay, now you generally know the types of civilian employment, you know what kind of jobs you are likely suited for – go back to the jobs that suit you and interest you – look at the qualifications, which ones to you meet the qualifications for?

 

If it is a federal job – hey, create a resume on the job portal, and apply.

 

If the job is a state or local – try this location:
