I have a friend who graduated from a local college with a CJ degree a few years ago with an excellent GPA. Since then, he hasn't actively looked to find work that utilizes his education and has stuck to working in restaurant kitchens; he's' basically stuck to the work he's known for the past 15 years and is having trouble making the "jump", if you will.
I want to give him a boost via some outlets to find jobs that suit his CJ education, but I'm not in the industry so I'd really appreciate any ideas for places to go to get started. He has a couple DUIs on his record, so I understand the choices could be very limited, but ideally I'd like some ideas of careers where the CJ degree could be utilized, as well as any resources that will help him find specific CJ job opportunities. Thanks so much.
