Hi, awhile back I came across a story that went something like this...

A woman meets a man at her mothers funeral. He offered his condolences, but she had never met him before.  He was everything that she had dreamed of and she felt a connection instantly.  Unfortunately, the circumstance did not allow her to ask for more details about him and she could not find the gentleman again anywhere. She tried asking everyone who was present at the funeral and no one knew who he was.           A month later she killed her sister. Why?

I was told that stories and questions such as these are used on crimial justices exams to test a persons ability to think like a criminal and solve crimes.  People who answers these questions correctly should consider a career in CJ.

I was able to come up with the correct answer however I wonder if it was by luck that I got this question right or if I should seriously look into a CJ career?  Since then I have been searching everywhere for more questions like this, but have had no luck.  I really would like to test myself more with these questions and they're just extremely fun to solve as well. Does anyone know where I can find more questions such as these?  I would greatly appreciate it if you'd direct me to where I can find them.

Thank you

While not a question I've seen on a test (I know the answer:))  You are likely refering to reasoning and logic questions typically found in the LSAT.  Here are some good hyperlinks that explain the LSAT questions and even give you a few to ponder:)

Thank You CJ!!! Those links were very helpful and interesting.  I've learned a great deal more.

Just incase anyone else reading this wonders what the answer is, for the above question, it is because....

She wanted to see if he would show up to the funeral.
