I'm currently on the SWAT team for my department.  Our department has 130 sworn and the team currently has 17 members.  Within the last couple of years we have lost a few operators due to promotions...thanks guys!  Every time we have testing for the team we seem to only draw 2-3 applicants.  Many times it's the same 2-3 applicants we had before.  Our SUPERVISORS (non SWAT members) say we need to lower our standards.  We say "Go to" (you know where).  We, as a team, are completely against lowering our standards.  The question, How can we get more individuals interested in applying for the team when positions open up?
