Report on the Seventh International Law Enforcement Forum - Minimal Force Options and Less-Lethal Technologies
This 2009 forum at Bramshill in the United Kingdom brought together persons involved in the development, use and monitoring of less-lethal technologies. Delegates examined the integration of less-lethal technologies and use of force in policing for large scale public events. The forum included representatives from the UK, Ireland, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and representatives from the European Working Group on Non-Lethal Weapons. The report is a summary of the discussions, associated conclusions and recommendations for further work. To view the report, go to https://www.ncjrs.gov/pdffiles1/nij/grants/235123.pdf.
