Hi. i need help with my assigntment. I have a teacher at college who wants all my assignments to be perfect. i have not been doing so great on the homework assignments because they are not "perfect." and he will not help anyone out. he says he wont reteach the class. so my assigntment goes like this

1)pick 3 objections

2)define that bojection

3)give an example of a situation where that objection woul be useful.

oh and when it says give an example, example is circled and then it goes down to, story, courtroom, witness etc. I dont know what that means but is this right... im thinking of for example maybe picking A question assumes facts not in evidence , and  "It presumes unproved facts to be true" and so i got an example that says asking a question like this "when did you stop beating your wife?" but this assumes that the person has beaten his wife.......now is this how he wants it, but i dont know what he means when he says give an example and example means story courtroom witness etc, because i dont think the example i gave about the wife beating includes any of that....thank you for your help

I know this post is a bit old....but what about "Hearsay" definition: witness is recounting what he or she heard from a different person who actually witnessed the act.

Example: Witness on the stand is telling the court how Bob murdered Stan. When asked if he saw this, he replies, "No, Cindy told me." The defense can then object this recollection as hearsay.
