I really enjoyed my Criminal Justice Management course. I found it is true that all prejudices must be set aside when working in a Law Enforcement setting. It is easy to get caught up and form an opinion before all facts are brought to the table. It is important to stress to new hires that Police Officers job is to protecet and serve every citizen regardless of ther race, sex, religion, etc.. We all have opinions and our opinions are not wrong it becomes wrong when we try to force our views on other people. I beleive it is important to praise your Officers, everyday they put there life on the line, it is like going to war everyday so Police Officers need a lot of support and guidance. This course has showed and taught me the importance of good Management.
