I must day the Technology course proved to be challenging and informative. The text book reading,  the side readings and presentations have provided me a wealth of information.  From simply learning simple things like what WWW or HTML mean, to gaining a better understanding of how various technological systems work.

The various websites that the book references provide significant resources for a law enforcement manager to research issues.  Many of the sites provide information that can be used in tactical or emergent situations.

Just having the skills to know where to start looking will make a significant difference in my ability to gain information, intelligence gathering and research items.

One of the most interesting aspects of the course was researching and writing about future technology and it's impact on law enforcement. A lot of work was crammed into eight short weeks.  The foundation the class has provided along with having the text book for reference will benefit me and my organization.
