I have been retired from FT,PT and volunteer work now for 2 years and take a serious interest in forensic science. I am in no way a professional, nor am I involved in the practice of forensic science. But as an interested and concerned citizen, who is alarmed by many of the current directions in society, the subject has interested me for some years, an interest which began when I was a teacher and lecturer: 1967-2003. I have been married for 41 years. My wife is a Tasmanian, aged 60. We’ve had 3 children: ages in 2007-41, 37 and 30. I am 63, a Canadian who moved to Australia in 1971 and have written 3 books--all available on the internet. I retired from full-time teaching in 1999, part-time teaching in 2004 and volunteer/casual teaching/work in 2005 after 35 years in classrooms.
