hello my name is "Gabrielelohim" lol, (not really but anonymity on the net is really a good thing... i know i don't have to explain this to anyone here ;~)

i am currently enrolled in a forensics program in "a school in ann arbor michigan". specializing in computer forensics... i am not a cop, (although i play one on tv lol) but we are being trained to interface with law enforcement on many levels, local, state, federal etc...

when i graduate i'm honestly not sure what i will do with the degree / certs connections etc... but i AM SURE that i'm walking the correct path...

my question, is this;

HAS ANYONE EVER GOTTEN FTK, (forensic tool kit, or any of the encase suite.) TO RUN ON A MAC G4 RUNNING VIRTUAL PC 7. WHATEVER???

i am selling my g4 and upgrading next month, however this puzzle has had me pulling my hair out for months... (it would be MUCH easier to do home work from home, rather than constantly having to drive to the computer lab.)

best regards,
and any help...
would be greatly appreciated...

bueller??? bueller???

lol

i had heard that running forensic tools virtually was the hot new thang, (although i can only imagine having to explain to a jury how you found the critical evidence using FTK on a computer that doesn't really exist ;~)

anyone even have any ideas or know of anyone that has made this work???

best regards,

Gabrielelohim
