Hi,

I'm Ken, one of your classmates. What works for me is to complete the assigments ASAP after the class. I spend about four hours the next day working on my assignments (I'm lucky, I have Tuesday off after Monday classes) and then about an hour or so on the weekend. What ever you do, don't wait until the last minute.

Hey Flopez,  What usually works for me when I get overwhelmed with a lot of homework and assignments, is I literally make a timeline as far as charting out what assignments I am going to do when and then I check them off as I go.  For the most part I usually take 1 or 2 days during the week when I am off and I slam out all my work at one time.

Different things work for different people, but what is important is that you organize your work and timeline just so you don't forget something :)

The class looks like its going to be really interesting and fun, remember that we are all in it together, and you will do just fine

Hello all, Kevin here and I am one of your classmates in CJM410. This is my 4th session at Union and had to switch to the on line course due to the fact I am out of town until July 17. I am a sergeant with an Orange County Agency, been there 20 years and work an admin assignment right now.  Hoping to get my degree before my two boys, both in college now.

Hey Mel, what made you switch over to the on line side? If if wasn't out of town, I would still be going to the class.  Kevin

Hello All,

My name is Maria and I'm employed with LA Co. Probation Dept.  I'm currently taking CJM 410 w/ Foster at the Twin Towers location. This is my second session with Union and am looking forward to learning a great deal from this class and hopefully implement some of these techniques at work.

Kevin my brother

I am not on line with this class - Instructor Foster wanted us to post messages as part of our class assignment.  However, I do have an email class (Eng 302 with Andrews). Too bad you can't come to class, its going to be a good session.

Hi there,

I am with a Police Department that sits between San Marino, South Pasadena, Los Angeles, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Arcadia and unincorporated L.A. County. I have been with them for 26 years and decided it was time to get educated! This is my last onsite class and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel that is illuminating my Bachelor's Degree.

Regards to all,

B. George

Hey Chris,

I'm in my fourth session and I can tell you it flys by! I started in January of this year and will be done in the Fall. It has been a great program! See you next week.

OK I don't know if I have this right or not it just dawned on me that I did not use a log on name correctly. I am in the Brea class on Monday nights for CRJ410. I am with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department for the last 17 years and prior to that spent 9 years with the Junction City Kansas Police Department

Well this is my second post and after reviewing some of the others I feel like saying yipee too.  I have this class with Raymond and then one more session and I will be done with my B.A. I have applied to a Master's program and am excited to hopefully get in. The funny thing about it is that 30 years ago I graduated High School and applied to college there and at the last minute felt that I was not ready to be a university student. Now I am hoping they accept me so that I can get my Masters.
