I am the Fire Chief for the City of Garden Grove, where I have worked at the fire department for 27 years. The most compelling question is why am I taking classes at this point in my career? The requirement for fire chief recently changed from education and experience to all education. Grandfathering was allowed for this last test process, but a degree was required to be completed....and here I am.
