| Good day everyone. My name is Brian. After a couple years of being a Jarhead I decided to get out and get into law enforcement. I've been with LAPD for over three years and have loved every year. With the classes I am taking now, I plan to have my bachelors in about a year. With the degree I plan on trekking up the ladder to a supervisor's position (after of course I spend some more time in the field). Where I'll stop, I have no idea. I wish everyone the best of luck in studies and future endeavors.

| Hi my name is Catherine. I currently go to CSULB where I am majoring in Criminal Justice. I work for Los Angeles County as a Paraeducator. I either want to be a Probation officer or work for the LA County Sheriffs Dept.

Hello, I'm Catherine. I justed this degree program and hopefully upon completion of my degree I will be able to go into the Sheriffs Department and/or continue my education and obtain a Masters Degree and teach within the field of Criminal Justice. Currently I attend CSULB, where I'm majoring in Criminal Justice and Liberal Studies.

HI,
My name is Jose I am a Police Officer with the Los Angeles Airport Police. I've been on the job now for about 12 years, though I have only been with the Airport PD for about three years. I used to work for another agency with a higher amount of calls for service. I got tired real quick of having my code 7 (lunch break) denied because of pending calls holding. The Airport PD is great due to low calls for service and more time to go out and make self generated activity and obs arrest. I'm a student with Union working on my degree should be done this October. I hope to promote soon and enjoy the benefits of more $$$ for having my degree.

Good luck with your educational goals. If you havent already you should look into tapping into the LAX Cash OT detail. There is lots of LAPD officers raking in the cash ot. OH and if your a Motor you love it even more. Take care. STAY LOW AND SHOOT STRAIGHT! HOOAH!

My name is James and I have been a Police Officer for almost 7 years. I work for the Hanford Police department. Hanford has a population of 50,000 and is 25 miles south west of Fresno. I am currently a Corporal and assigned to patrol. I have been a Corporal for 2 years. Prior to being promoted to Corporal I worked to years as a Gang Investigator.
I just started at the Union Institute & University and I am working on my bachelors degree. I am taking Police technology and i expect to have a greater understanding of the technology that goes along with Police work.
After completing this class and after i have received my bachelors degree I fell I will be more promotable and with the knowledge I obtain I will be an asset to my department.

HELLO EVERYBODY, MY NAME IS JUSTIN VALLIN AND I ALSO WORK AT THE HANFORD POLICE DEPT. I HAVE BEEN A POLICE OFFICER WITH HPD FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS. I CURRENTLY WORK NIGHT SHIFT BUT AM OUT ON A KNEE INJURY RIGHT NOW.
I AM ENROLLED IN POLICE TECHNOLOGY AND THIS IS MY FIRST CLASS AT UNION. I HOPE TO GET MY B.A IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS, WHICH WILL HOPEFULLY PUT ME IN A BETTER SPOT FOR PROMOTIONS.
