Lt,
I am also in agreement with the first option. If you want to take lead on this just assign which ever part you want me to cover. Any other changes I will try to monitor the forum every so often. If no reply from the forum, just landline me on my cell. No worries!

Good evening. My name is Darin Schindler and I'm currently a sergeant with Ventura Police. Had my AA for some time now but just decided to return to school to get my BS in Criminal Justice at Union. I just started CMJ 410 Police Technlogy (Tutorial) this week and i'm still getting the hang of things (already posted in the wrong place once). Besides promotional opportunities, having my 4-year degree is just something i've wanted to accomplish. Looking forward to talking with you.

Hello Joseph,
My name is Joseph as well, Im over at LAX. Just wanted to wish you much success as you finish your degree. Im probably not too far behind you. Im also a PADI Intermediate diver...been diving for a few years now. It would be great if they had a dive team at LAX but I doubt anyone ever pitched the idea. Who knows? Hey Joseph, all the luck to you!!!

| Okay, thanks for the correct thread. I'm a sergeant for Pasadena Police Department and started my first class tonight. I'm returning to college to finish my BS. My decision to return was two fold. First, I want to be able to tell my three sons that I have a BS degree when it is time for them to obtain theirs. Second, completion of the degree will be an immediate pay raise and hopefully lead to a promotion to lieutenant. Is this correct?

Art-
Thanks for reminding me of another reason why I am finishing up my 4-year degree - To show my 12 & 14 year-old how important it is to get their college degree. Hopefully it won't take them as long..........

Hello my name is Joe and I am an officer with Claremont PD. I have been with the department for almost eight years and I am currently assigned to Investigations.
I have decided to continue my education to set a good example for my teenage children and to increase my opportunity for promotion to sergeant.
I look forward to the course and meeting other students.

| Hey Joe, I'm pretty sure I was on a game show with one of your co-workers. I think he won somewhere around $50,000. I'll talk to you about it on Wednesday. Max
