Hi my Name is Yolanda Gonzales I am 23 years old and I am a transfer student and i don't know what that makes me a junior or senior?, but I know that I will graduate in two semesters. This is my second year at Fresno State. I plane to major in corrections and get a second degree in sociology. I want to intern at the Juvenile Hall before I decide what rout I should take in the system. I have had my hart set out to work in law enforcement since the age of 10 yrs old. No one in my immediate family is in law enforcement I just had a great basketball coach in grammar school who was and he was also my D.A.R.E instructor a long time ago. What expect to get from this class is an understanding on ethics and so far I have but also confused on some but this has only been 3 weeks in so I plane to get well with ethics and my own understanding of it all. I am in the morning class.Last edited on Tue Sep 19th, 2006 11:28 pm by 112YGonzales

Hello, my name is Jose Munoz. I am from the Garlic Capital of the World
(GILROY CA,) also known as having one of the best shopping outlets in northeren California. I am a Crim majaor in Law Enforcment. When I finish school I would like to become part of S.W.A.T.
I am taking crim 112 on tues. thurs at 2pm.
In this class I would want to get to learn the in's and out's of how to act when dealing with criminals. There are many ways a person can act towards people but it is the way you can handle it without getting in trouble.

| My name is Nick Lopez, I am a double major in Political Science as well as Criminology. I am orginally from a small central coast town of Gonzales, population 8,000. I am in the Crim- 112 morning class, Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is my second semester here at Fresno State, and after recieving my diploma I plan to work at the Monterey County Sheriff's Department or for the city council. What I plan to get out out this class is a better understanding of ethics and moral values that I would use in my everyday life. Last edited on Tue Sep 19th, 2006 11:50 pm by 112Lopez

| I think that's great that your the only one in your family that wants to take your career into the crminal justice field. A true trailblazer. I am also the first of my family to take a career in criminal justice. I am 22 years old and also double majoring like you but in Crim and Poli-Sci. Well good luck and have a good semester.

| Well, I wish you good luck in class and I hope you learn a lot. My major is also corrections and I am also going to graduate in 2007. Yay!! It's been a long ride for me, but I am getting there. I am looking into the victimology certificate because I want to become a Youth Correctional counselor eventually. So, I need to learn a lot so I can use it in the future. I know what is right and wrong, but it does not hurt to know more about how to deal with our decisions and how to go about certain ideas we have. I have already been learning a lot as it is. Especially when he talked about the plagiarism subject. What do you think about that? Well, hopefully you have fun in this class!! Congrats when you graduate next year!!!! | Hi Sherri! That is great that you are working toward such a worthwhile goal. There is an insane need for help among the delinquent children of today. What do you think about the idea of the (legal) digitized child porn that our papers are based on? Hope you're enjoying class thus far!

Hello everyone! My name is Renae Garcia and I attend the bright and early (Tues/Thurs:9:30-1045am) morning class! I am majoring in Criminology with Law Enforcement as my option. I pray and hope to attend UCLA Law after I get my degree here at Fresno State. My career goal is to become a lawyer and then a judge. My expectations for this class are to become more knowledgeable about ethics. I know already from the class that ethics are very dynamic and ethical choices depend on the individual.

| Hey guys! Does anyone have a really good grasp on how our papers are supposed to be written for the #3 writing assignment? I am a little confused, so if some one could reiterate what we are supposed to do that would be great... Thanks! Meghan*
