| I had a difficult time myself with finding articles. The books were a lot easier. After logging on to the Union web site, click on the "Research and Library" link. You will see "Data Base by Subject" link, which has a red background on the upper center portion of the screen. Click on this link. Look to the right of the screen and you will see the "Criminal Justice" link, which is under the Social Sciences group. After you click on this link, you will see the six different data bases to choose from. I found my two articles in the "EBSCO" link and "Infotrac" link. I hope this helps! Robert.

| It is January 18th and I finally figured out how to do this stuff. I been involved in Law Enforcement since 1981, starting as a Civilian Jailer for a Sheriff's Department in the Tri-County/ Gold Coast Region of California. I have been a sworn officer for over 18 years. I worked for 5 1/2 years for an Inland Empire Agency and currently am a Lieutenant (Explains the difficulty with the computer programs) with an agency in the Tri-County/ Gold Coast Region of California. I am taking Violence and Terrorism and Supervision courses with Union. I previously attended Union and have about 7 courses until I complete my bachelors degree. I hoope to gain other perspecties into these issues, complete my education, and place myself in a better position within the organization (not to mention the 5% Education Incentive Pay)

Hi everyone,
My name is Christian. I'm a police officer with a small beach city department near Los Angeles. I have been in law enforcement for over ten years.
I am taking three courses through the Union: Computer Crime, Current Issues in Law Enforcement, and College Math. I hope to finish my bachelor's degree by this fall. I am also considering furthering my education once I finish this program.
I hope to learn how Computer Crime relates to my job as a police officer.
Good luck to all,
Christian

Hi Joseph,
It sounds like you are committed to finishing your degree with the Union.
Good luck with school, and with that pay incentive!

Hi Christian
Always wanted to work in a beach city, but worked in the desert!
Good luck with your courses. I am also thinking of furthering my education when I finish my bachelors degree.

Hi John,
Maybe we'll both be furthering our education together. I am interested to see what the Union has to offer as far as a Master's program.
Good luck with school.

Hi, my name is Emily and I'm a student at Cal State Fullerton. I'm in my last semester and graduating this spring! I'm a psych major, but minoring in Criminal Justice... Is there anyone out there who's using a psych degree in a law enforcement environment? My career goal is to be a criminal profiler either working for the FBI or contracting out to them (more $$$). Thanks for your time, I look forward to meeting and chatting with you guys!

Hello everyone,
My name is Ashley and i am currently taking CJ 330 @ CSUF. I am taking this course to complete my minor for CJ. I was a CJ major but changed last semester to psychology because i realized i was a really good listener and enjoyed talking to people and helping them. I am hoping to get an internship this semester with the JADE program which stands for Juvenile Alchohol and Drug Education, it is really interesting to see young kids discuss their stories about their addictions. My goal is to become a clinical psychologist focusing on juveniles and drug addictions. Goodluck to all those in school!

| Hi. I'm Richard and I am in the 330 class. I currently work for a local city in Orange County. My major is Criminal Justice, where I hope to use my degree towards a city or county level law enforcement career. I hope that this class will provide me with memorable material to use throughout my career.
