Hi my name is Adrienne Colizzi. I am a senior at CSUF. I am a full time student and work as a server for the meantime. I'm starting to intern this semester so hopefully it will help narrow what I want to do for my career. This class is Minorities and Crime and seems really interesting. The stereotype lecture caught my attention and has made me think. I am taking 15 units this semester which is the most I've ever taken at once so cross my fingers things go well. I just want to graduate by Spring of 08. I have my AA degree already and am working on my BA. I expect to learn a lot because there seems to be a lot of work LOL. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Congrats on 19 years in the robbery/homicide unit. I was wondering what type of experience do you need for that? Seems really interesting and obviously you enjoy it because of the amount of years you have been working there. GOOD LUCK!

Hi, my name is Daniel Moretti and I'm graduating from CSUF this semester. I currently work for Fry's Electronics as a A/V salesman. After school I plan on getting in with a police department somewhere local and seeing where I go from there. I expect this class will add to what i've learned in all my previous CJ classes.

Daniel, good luck after graduating from CSUF this semester. I hope you get a job in a police department. You should look for employment also at the state and federal level because they usually pay more than at the local level.

Hello, my name is Michelle. I'm a Junior at CSUF and a Criminal Justice major. I'm very much looking forward to having Mr. Foster as my professor, I've heard many positive comments about him. I'm currently a Customer Service Rep. Lead and bored stiff which has prompted me to go back to school and study a subject of interest.

| Hi Alisha, congrats in advance for your upcoming Dec. graduation and baby. It takes a lot of fortitude on your part to complete a degree while working and raising a child. I hope you enjoy your last semester. Last edited on Mon Aug 27th, 2007 04:12 pm by mmillercj38507

Congratulations on you 19 years in law enforcement. My uncle just retired from a Police Department in Orange County and was a Homicide Detective in his last 7 years or so on the force. He loved working in the Robbery/Homicide unit as I hope you do as well. Good luck in your studies of computers, forensic analysis and networking.

You amaze me with all that you do regardless of what you have on your plate. You truly are a role model and I wish you the very best with all that you do in the future. See you in class

| Hey whats up? I have a very common name, and proud of it. My name is Jose Gonzalez. I'm a student here at CSUF. Ofcourse, I'm a criminal justice major. Well lets get to the point. I live a very bussy life. I work full time for the County of Orange. I do traffic control for the county. My department is RDMD. Besides working, I'm also currently taking 9 units here at college. I start work at 6am and get off at 4:30 p.m After work I come straight to school. I hardly have time to study but i do my best to make time. Due to the hours I work, my GPA is suffering badly. But I have to work to support for my 5 year old boy. I attend to always stay bussy In my free time. I aswell take care of my eldery parents. I'm looking foward to graduating for numerous of reasons. One is to get my career started, and the other is so I wont be as bussy coming to skool 3 nights a week.

Hello my name is Humberto Emilio Valdez. I am a senior at CSUF majoring in criminal justice. I am 24 years of age with no kids. I currently work with the DA'S office at WEST COURT (West Justice Center). Besides working full time i attend school full time. I am huge believer of the CJ system. I understand there are many flaws the system has but ultimately the system is one the best in the world. On my free time i enjoy getting dirty in the sand, snow, or wet(if thats getting dirty; more like wet)

Hey Adrienne,
I just wanted to say hello and goodluck in the class. Last spring I took a class with Foster and it was great. Although it required quite a bit of studying I learned more in that class than most if any of my others. I just wanted to put you at ease about this course. Sure it is a lot of work, but he makes the material interesting and there is no reason any of us should earn a low grade. If you liked the first lecture I am sure we will like the majority of the rest. Have fun and see you in class.
Shane
