Hello,

My name is Tim. I have been in law enforcement for 24 years. I just Started at the Union Institute and University to complete my education. Its never too late i guess. I have had a range of assignment from property detective to persons (homicide, robbery, assault, child abuse etc.) Detective. I promoted from Officer to Sergeant 4 years ago after leaving a narcotics assignment. Narcotics and special enforcement have been my favorite so far.  About 3 years ago I was in charge of our narco unit. I am now assigned to a task force.

I hope any future or current police officers could please make the effort to complete their education early in their career. It is important. Dedication is important but dont put your education on the back burner as I did. Now Im playing catch up. I am happy where Im at but my opportunities are limited if you do not have a degree. Education is more important than you think. Anybody needing any advice or guidance on special assignments or anything from me please feel free to contact me..
