Hello, my name is Joshua Wells and I work for a police department in Los Angeles County. I have been a police officer for approximately 6 years. Prior to being an officer, I was a Police Aide and a Police Explorer. I am currently assigned to motors with colateral duties as a SWAT operator, Field Training Officer and Range Master. I am currently enrolled at Union Institute (Arcadia) working towards my undergraduate degree.
Being a Range Master is probably one of the most demanding and rewarding jobs in law enforcement. It must take a lot of patience and commitment to train other police officers. What do you find is the most challenging part of being a Range Master?
