Hello to all,
My name is Phil and I work for a small, (Appx 70-80 sworn) agency in the San Gabriel Valley and have been a police officer since 2002. I have been an explorer advisor for the last three years and am currently assigned as a field training officer in patrol. I started with the Union Institute in May 2007 and hope to complete my degree requirements at the end of April 2008. My experience so far has been challenging yet very rewarding

| Ya I guess I should have rephrased that - budgeted for 75 sworn - running with 20% below that number - Thats more like it.

You think 20% down is bad, if the city does not come through with a new contract soon, standby. There will be more officers jumping ship to other agencies where the city values its employees!
