Technology is very important for terrorists to be successful.  Much of terrorism is conducted underground until the actual act is commited.  Funding terrorists through wire transfers from invisible sources makes it hard to stop the flow of finance that is needed to carry out distruction.

It's vital that we combat terrorism by funding the advancement in technology so law enforcement can have a fighting chance against terrorism

You're right about the ivisibility of terrorists. I've learned it's to the point only when the terrorists make a "mistake," is the time when we catch them. A mistake being something they do that doesn't make sense with what they are supposedly doing on the surface. If our intelligence doesn't catch any mistakes then it is likely an attack plan is going forward.

I agree with you. Although these terrorists want to live in the stone ages they use modern technology to assist them in their goals. Too many websites exist for the global transfer of money. Look at Paypal.com for instance. They guarentee worldwide payment. Deposit it here and its in the Middle East tomorrow. Online gambling sites also offer an easy way for these guys to send money. The internet is so big Im not sure if there is a way to watch all of the activity. Maybe the companys that allow the sharing of money globally could be regulated to report irregularities. They can be held resposible and have some ownership for assisting them.
