Hello everyone, my name is Josh Johnson and I attend the University of North Alabama. I may not be using this discussion forum the correct way, if not, please let me know.
I'm a junior hear at UNA, and I'm a political science major with history minor. I'm nearly done with my major, and I had originally intending on attending law school. However, here lately I've wanted to change my direction, I think I'd be bored with law school and I'd like to work with the FBI or something with the CIA. I'd like to be an agent and move up in the agency. My question is what steps I need to take in order to land a job with prefferabely the FBI. I'm fine with changing my second major to CJ, but I don't intend on taking any foreign languages. Will the Political Science aspect help me at all with either of them?
You might then poke around at the same location and look at the other CJ related jobs. Then, go to http://www.usajobs.gov/ you can search for all federal law enforcement jobs and see qualifications, hiring process, etc.
Good luck
