So, you’re seriously considering a job in law enforcement. But, you have questions – What’s the job really like? How do I apply? Where can I find openings? What is the process like? How can I score the highest possible?
These are important questions. Indeed, anyone who has gone through the application process for a law enforcement job knows it is critical to score as high as possible. It’s your score that gets you in the door. | Hi!! My name is Amy, and I am currently attending ITT Tech in Lexington, KY. I am studying Criminal Justice, because I am intrigued by the complexity of the system. I am a little concerned that I don't know what I want to do with my degree once I have completed the program. Although, the financial aspect of my career is important, it's not my main concern. Do you have any suggestions on careers that will be both financially fulfilling as well as exciting that i may realistically be able to obtain? Thanks.

For any resients of NJ, or active duty personnel that will deros w/i the next year, the NJ Department of Personnel is offering a statewide exam for 202 sworn agencies in NJ. The application window is from today until 31 March 2008. The application can be found at the NJDOP website located at:

and is called the "2008 LEE Application."
The test will be given statewide in Sept of 2008, and this test is given ONCE every 2 years. Open to citizens of NJ or active duty military personnel ONLY.
